This original quilt is filled and lined with cotton and consists of rich rainbow coloured heavy cotton. The circles are embroidered with chain stitch. The simplicity of this quilt makes it powerful not only due to the contrasting tones of the colours but because it is a very tactile piece.

The machine stitches are irregular because of the thickness of the three layers. There is no message in this abstract work. It can be used as a wall hanging or modern art but beware people are compelled to touch this colourful piece. One off not to be repeated.
